Summary: HomePDX is possibly the coolest church I've ever had the pleasure of working with. Situated in downtown Portland, HomePDX is a safe place for people of various backgrounds. They wanted a website which showed off the art work of one of their friends, and so I collaborated with her on the visual design.

Technologies Used: Origen handcoded the site using XHTML, CSS, PHP, and hooked it into the Wordpress content management system to make it easily updatable. Also included was Paypal integration so Home can take contributions online.

Convergence Website

Summary: Convergence is an organization which fosters opportunities for Christian women leaders to connect with one another. Not your typcial women's ministry, Convergence events involve women leaders learning from one another, and empowering through story and common activities. The website was designed to faciliate opportunities for story telling, and also event information and registration.

Technologies Used: Origen handcoded the site using XHTML, CSS, PHP, and hooked it into the Wordpress content management system to make it easily updatable. Also included was the set up of paypal for registration payment.

Summary:RANS Property Managment is a medium sized family-owned and operated property managment firm serving Eugene, Oregon and surrounding areas. They wanted an updated site that was clean, fresh, and easily updateble to feature their most current properties.

Ed St. Clair Jr Real Estate

Summary: When Ed St. Clair Jr decided that he wanted a unique presence for his business, he turned to Origen to make it happen. Through thoughtful collaboration we developed a stunning site which focuses on the ways in which Ed makes the process of buying and selling a home easier for his potential clients. Most real estate web sites are full of dead links, unuseful content and confusing navigation. By focusing in on Ed's users needs we cut out the junk and replaced it with well-written and well-organized content.

Technolgies Used: Origen handcoded the site using XHTML, CSS, and Javascript to create beautiful section transitions on the buyers and sellers pages.

Summary: My wife really likes to blog and as a Christmas gift, I decided to give her a place she could call home on the world-wide web. After two really late nights (it was the only time I could work without her catching me) I surprised her on Christmas morning with karleneclark.com. Suffice it to say, she was very happy.

Technolgies Used: Origen handcoded the site using XHTML, CSS, set up a Flickr account to automatically flow her lastest shots, and powered the whole thing with Wordpress.

Oregon Abroad Study Abroad Website

Summary: Oregon Abroad is the study abroad arm of Oregon University System's International Programs. They turned to Origen to guide them through the redesign process. Focusing on structure and usability, Origen developed a complex navigation that was easy and intuitive for the user to manage. Each of the 11 study programs has a "mini-site" with secondary navigation.

Technolgies Used: Origen handcoded the site using XHTML, CSS, along with the creation of Dreamweaver templates to easily manage the site.
